Answer to the International Jeopardy Question 11/10

Where is the world’s largest rain forest?

The Amazon in South America is the world’s largest rain forest. It is an area almost as big as 48 of the 50 states of the United States and contains more species of plants and animals than an other place on Earth. Unfortunately, it’s being burned and cleared at the rate of about 4 percent each year.
