The Institute of International Education (IIE) announced last week that it is launching a new course titled “Connecting to the World: International Relations for Higher Educations Institutions.” It is designed to help university representatives as well as Ministry officials to create an effective international relations office. It is piloting in Myanmar this fall in order to “enable universities in Myanmar to connect with institutions in the United States” thereby preparing students to enter the globalized workforce.
